Abortion had a rough 2015
"It's been a terrible year for abortion rights-but there is opportunity to be found amid the setbacks."
That's the sober assessment of Michelle Goldberg, writing in Slate about how 2015 went for abortion supporters.
Her article focuses on several things, including the continued trend of prolife legislation passing in states. Michigan is no different. As we reach the end of 2015, two major initiatives include the Coercive Abortion Prevention Act (CAPA) and the Dismemberment Abortion Ban are being considered by our Legislature.
CAPA would add protections to women who are coerced into having abortions. Dismemberment abortions, like partial-birth abortions, are violent late-term techniques to end a human life.
The opportunity that Goldberg mentions could be more of an opportunity for prolifers. Abortion supporters hope that by talking about abortion more openly, even celebrating it, they can change the conversation.
In the past, organizations like Planned Parenthood and pro-abortion politicians have done everything they could to avoid mentioning abortion. Abortion thrives when it's not talked about and people don't understand the violence it entails.
In 2016, we must continue to speak the truth about what abortion is. We must continue to teach people about the value of life and the development of the child in the womb. We will celebrate, not lament, the fact that abortions are at their lowest since 1973.

Help RLM's lifesaving efforts and double your donation!
by Jessi Engelsma, Education & Events Coordinator
What does Right to Life of Michigan do?
Before I started working at RLM in the summer I asked this
same question.
I knew that RLM worked in the prolife movement but I didn’t know about all the work they do. Now I’m here to explain that to you.
Right to Life of Michigan works to protect the
precious gift
of life from fertilization to natural death. We have four life
issues that we
work tirelessly on: abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and assisted
suicide. How
do we go about this? Through education, legislation, and political action, and helping our volunteers with motivation and encouragement.
Let me explain.
Right to Life of Michigan works hard to make
sure that all
of our affiliates have the resources they need to educate their
communities
about these important life issues. We also use many different
forms of social
media to reach people and highlight important news articles, new
studies, and
other prolife updates. Our compassion project ads on TV are
another way we
reach people and share stories of prolife women.
Through benefit dinners with engaging speakers and providing
support to our affiliates so they can put on different events
throughout the
year, we motivate the people of Michigan to action. In order for
abortion to
end, we need Michigan to be committed to preserving
life. We also
have an action page on our website where people can go to see what
can be done
NOW to end abortion.
Working in the prolife movement can become
disheartening
since so many times it seems like we are losing the battle.
However, at RLM we
work to encourage and show people that we are winning the fight.
Millennials
like me are the prolife generation and polls are showing that teenagers
are more
prolife than their predecessors. We are initiating change in our
society and every action makes a difference, no matter how small.
We also
encourage community members to participate in prolife events
whether it is a
walk for life, a memorial for the unborn, or even a golf outing.
Showing support for
the prolife movement and engaging with the community is vital for
us!
Finally, RLM works diligently in creating new
legislation
and works hard at passing ongoing legislation. We have a
legislative office in
Lansing that is dedicated specifically to legislation and our
efforts in this
area are being rewarded. These advances are made possible by the many prolife people who turn out at the polls to elect prolife candidates.
So why am I telling you this? Without your
support, we
can’t perform all these tasks. We wouldn’t be able to tell the
public that
every day 75 babies are being aborted in Michigan alone. Abortion
survivors
like Melissa Ohden wouldn’t be able to tell their stories to a
captive
audience. Prolife citizens wouldn’t be aware of events occurring
in their towns.
Right now we have a matching gift for all online donations to the Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund until the end of the year. These donations are tax deductible and support important educational efforts. We need your support to continue working in the prolife movement to protect women and promote the unborn’s special value of life.

Tennessee woman charged with attempted murder after trying to self-abort at 24 weeks
Anna Yocca, a 31-year-old woman from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, has been charged with first degree attempted murder after trying to kill her 24-week unborn child with a coat hanger. The child survived but sustained serious injuries.
In 2014, 59 children were aborted in Michigan after 24 weeks, according to the Michigan Department of Community Health.
FULL STORY
Police say doctors were able to save “Baby Yocca,” who weighed 1.5 pounds at birth.
Doctors reportedly told authorities the baby boy’s quality of life “will be forever harmed.” He will need a medical foster, have to stay on oxygen and require daily medication.
Yocca is accused of causing medical issues to the child’s lungs, eyes and heart with the hanger. Doctors said other medical issues will arise as he gets older, according to police.

U.S. Senate votes to defund Planned Parenthood
Last night, the U.S. Senate voted 52-47 to repeal major parts of Obamacare and place a 1 year moratorium on most taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. This is the first time in history either has cleared Congress. President Obama has indicated that he will veto the legislation.
FULL STORY
The Senate voted, 52 to 47, on Thursday night to repeal large portions of Obamacare and defund Planned Parenthood. The repeal was wrapped inside a budget reconciliation bill that needed a simple majority of 51 senators to make good on a longstanding promise to voters that a GOP-led Congress would eliminate large portions of Obamacare. But after months of pressure from conservatives, Senate leaders decided to add language to defund Planned Parenthood that not every Republican senator supports.

Infamous late-term abortionist sued for causing sterility, leaving part of baby’s skull in woman
Colorado abortionist Warren Hern is being sued by a Nebraska woman who claims Hern left a piece of her child’s skull in her uterus. This piece of skull caused a number of health issues, including sterility.
Hern is known for performing 3rd-trimester abortions and was featured in the pro-abortion film After Tiller which focuses on abortionists who do late-term abortions.

Following the Dec. 3, 2013, abortion, Hern told the DeBuhrs that all fetal tissue had been removed from her body even though the 4-centimeter bone was still inside her, the lawsuit says.
Neither Hern nor anyone in the clinic warned the DeBuhrs about the risks associated with the operation, the lawsuit says.
The doctor also failed to warn the couple about the risk that fetal tissue or bone would be left inside her body after the procedure, the lawsuit says.
Jennifer DeBuhr began to experience spotty bleeding in 2014. The skull fragment had become lodged in her uterus, the lawsuit says.
She suffered severe pain, mental distress and the removal of her uterus, it says. She lost her ability to conceive children and has a permanent injury.

CDC reports abortions down 4% in 2012
The Centers for Disease Control recently released their 2012 report on abortion. The CDC collects and compiles information on reported abortions from states which require abortion reporting. Some states do not report abortion statistics to the CDC so the CDC statistics aren't complete but they can help provide information on trends in abortion statistics. The CDC reports that the numbers of abortions, the abortion rate (abortions per 1,000 women aged 15-44) and abortion ratio (abortions per 1,000 live births) are at historic lows.
U.S. abortions continue to fall, according to a new federal report released Wednesday.Federal statistics show abortions have been in a general decline for about 25 years. The number of reported abortions dropped 4 percent in 2012, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported. About 699,000 abortions were reported to the federal government that year. That's about 31,000 fewer than the year before.

Numerous health violations found at Georgia abortion clinics
A local news station in Georgia did some investigative work into their state's inspection of abortion clinics and what they found wasn't pretty.
FULL STORY
Geary got the inspection records for all five clinics three weeks after filing the open records request. Some of them were pages long, listing numerous violations. Those violations were for items like expired medications and medical instruments, including speculums. Others listed unsterilized equipment, sterilized and non-sterile supplies stored in the same room with a traffic cone, the vent in a biohazard room taped off with cardboard, soiled linens in surgical rooms and stirrups wrapped in duct tape. One violation was for iodine swabs to prevent wound infections that had expired 10 years ago.
"If I was a patient at that clinic I would be horrified to know that maybe the tools they were using were not clean," said Galloway.
Planned Parenthood runs only one of the five surgical clinics. It's located in Augusta and had 23 violations in 2011, and paid a $1,400 fine.

Michigan House Committee passes bills to ban dismemberment abortion
On November 10, the Michigan House Criminal Justice Committee voted 5-3 to pass both bills that make up our dismemberment abortion ban. Action now moves to the house floor. Your lobbying efforts are still needed!
One way to join this effort is taking part in our End Dismemberment Social Media Contest.
Contest submissions must be able to be shared as an image on social media. Some ideas for social media images include a call to action, image macro, quote, infographic, etc.
This is your opportunity to help educate others about dismemberment abortions, which happen every day in Michigan. Social media is a critical way for people to directly share information about prolife issues without passing through a media filter that is often more friendly to abortion supporters.
Entries must be submitted by December 4.

Longtime abortionist calls it quits in Indiana after multiple health and safety issues
There is good news for Indiana and southwest Michigan; abortionist Ulrich Klopfer will no longer be performing abortions in Indiana.
At one time, Illinois resident Dr. Ulrich Klopfer operated abortion clinics in three Indiana cities, including Fort Wayne. As of next week, he will have none.FULL STORY
That was assured Thursday when Klopfer dropped an appeal of the Indiana State Department of Health's June decision not to renew his license to operate a facility in South Bend, which the state had cited for multiple safety and health issues. As a result, the South Bend Women's Pavilion must cease doing abortions at the end of business Friday.....
The state's June investigation of Klopfer's South Bend facility revealed several deficiencies, including his failure to follow Indiana law that requires a woman to give her voluntary and informed consent and view the fetal ultrasound and hear the fetal heartbeat, at least 18 hours before an abortion.

China changes one-child policy into two-child policy
Yesterday, the Communist Party of China announced they will now allow all couples to have two children. It should be made clear that China is not changing from a one-child policy to a two-child policy because they realized what a great violation of human rights their one-child policy was, as a two-child policy is still an obvious violation of human rights. Rather, China changed their policy because they finally realized the future demographic nightmare they are facing as the percentage of elderly members of their population will rise dramatically while the number of workers shrinks.
Joel Kotkin explains at New Geography:
Joel Kotkin explains at New Geography:
Perhaps the most troubling impact will be on the workforce. In 2050, the number of children in China under 15 is expected to be 60 million lower than today, approximately the size of Italy’s population. It will gain nearly 190 million people 65 and over, approximately the population of Pakistan, which is the world’s sixth most populous country. For decades, China brutally enforced (often with forced abortions and sterilizations) a policy which limited couples to only having one child. This policy has led to millions of sex-selection abortions in a country where many families favor boys over girls. Unfortunately, women in China who want to have more than two children will still face the same punishments women who wanted two children faced for decades.

11th video exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of selling fetal body parts released, abortionist sets goal of getting intact fetal head
This morning, the Center for Medical Progress released the 11th video in their series of video exposing Planned Parenthood’s willingness to sell the body parts of aborted children and alter abortion techniques to obtain parts.
This video features a conversation between abortionist Amna Dermish, who works for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas and undercover actors portraying fetal body parts buyers.
During the conversation, Dermish describes how she provides late-term abortions first by removing the extremities (arms and legs) and then grabbing the spine and pulling out the torso of the child.
In reply to a question from the undercover actor about the possibility of obtaining an intact fetal brain (conversation starting around the 7:45 mark), Dermish notes, “I haven’t been able to do that yet. I know right. This will give me something to strive for!”
Towards the end of the conversation, Dermish describes how one of their POC (product of conception room) persons is really into organ development and “just for fun” looks through the bodies of children in the first trimester to find their hearts and kidneys.
The full video of their conversation is below.

Michigan abortion clinic owner Renee Chelian caught on undercover video joking about burning bodies of aborted children in upper Michigan
One of the leaked undercover videos of National Abortion Federation conference filmed by the Center for Medical Progress is of a workshop featuring Michigan abortion clinic owner Renee Chelian. Chelian owns the Northland Family Planning chain of abortion clinics which does approximately 1/4 of all abortions in Michigan and does abortions up to 24 weeks. During the workshop, Chelian discusses the variety of problems she encountered when Stericycle, a waste disposal company, stopped disposing of the remains of aborted children from Northland clinics.
At one point in the workshop, Chelian described how her clinic had 5 months worth of fetal remains in rented freezers. She goes on to talk about how getting rid of the fetal tissue was all she thought about. She then says, “I was so consumed with fetal tissue that I was ready to drive to upper Michigan to have a bonfire. And it was just trying to figure out, you know, how I wouldn’t get stopped or how far into the woods would I have to go to have this fire that nobody would see me.”
She eventually hired someone from another abortion clinic to take 20 bottles of fetal tissue and put them in that clinic’s garbage disposal. Chelian also shared that she eventually found another company to take her fetal tissue and believes that fetal tissue eventually ends up at Stericycle.
During the question and answer period, Chelian mentioned she thought it would be “great idea” to burn the remains of aborted children for energy although it would be a “PR (public relations) nightmare.”
Chelian talks about taking fetal remains in a U-Haul to a pet crematory in Illinois, buying land in Detroit and putting an incinerator there to burn fetal remains and jokes about providing women who abort with the remains of their aborted children.
Chelian was previously featured in a political online ad by the Michigan Democratic Party attacking Terri Lynn Land’s U.S. Senate campaign.
Full video of Fetal Disposition 2/3 is below.
Chelian's talk begins at around 23 minutes mark in the Fetal Disposition 1/3 video.

U.S. House passes reconciliation bill which includes Planned Parenthood defunding
Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 240-189 to pass H.B. 3762. The legislation would defund 89% of Planned Parenthood’s federal funding for a year and repeal components of Obamacare including provision which could lead to the rationing of care, specifically the Independent Payment Advisory Board and the excess benefits tax.
The legislation now moves to the U.S. Senate where it only needs 51 votes to pass.

Undercover videos of National Abortion Federation conferences leaked, include conversation and workshops with Michigan abortionist
Undercover videos taken by the Center for Medical Progress were leaked online yesterday. The Center for Medical Progress has been under court order preventing them from publicly releasing the videos but the videos were recently turned over to Congress. The videos were apparently leaked by a Congressional staffer.
There are 11 videos in all. They include conversations with abortionists, abortion clinic staff and workshops at National Abortion Federation conferences. The content of these videos shows why the National Abortion Federation sued the Center for Medical Progress to prevent them from releasing them to the public.
Michigan abortionist Lisa Harris is featured in a number of the videos. One video is of a conversation with Harris regarding the possibility of obtaining fetal body parts where she discusses how her Planned Parenthood clinic formerly provided “fetal orbits” (eyeballs) to researchers.
In another video entitled "Planned Parenthood Michigan Workshop Video," Harris answers a question from an audience member (the question starts at around 16:00) and encourages the audience of abortion clinic workers to admit to the violence of abortion. Harris says, “I actually think we should be less about denying the reality of those images (images of aborted children) and more about acknowledging that yeah that’s kind of true. Given that we see the fetus the same way and given that we might both agree that there’s violence in here, ask me why I come to work everyday. Let’s just give them all the violence, it’s a person, it’s killing. Let’s just give them all that.”
In the same workshop, another presenter discusses women who regret their abortions and callously equates women who regret their abortions with athletes who regret hurting their knees.
During another workshop (2nd Trimester Provider Self Care 2/4) discussing how late-term abortionists need to care for themselves, Harris describes how she had a chance meeting on a plane with a judge in Michigan who had been signing all her judicial bypasses to allow minors in Michigan to have abortions without parental consent. Harris says the judge told her he did more judicial bypasses than almost anyone in the country. She also discusses problems abortionists have with sharing their experiences such as a patient having their “8th abortion.”
Another video (2nd Trimester Provider Self Care 4/4) of the same workshop shows the audience of abortion clinic workers bursting into laughter when workshop speaker Uta Landy reads other abortionists sharing their feelings of doing 2nd trimester abortions and one abortionist talks about how an eyeball fell in his lap during an abortion (at around 9:27).
In a conversation with undercover journalists, Planned Parenthood exec Deb VanderHei says some Planned Parenthood affiliates may want to provide fetal body parts to "increase their revenues" and there is nothing the national office could do about that.

Remembering Kermit Gosnell
On November 10, a documentary titled 3801 Lancaster: American Tragedy will be released. This documentary uncovers the truth behind the abortion industry through the lens of Kermit Gosnell, former Philadelphia abortionist and convicted murderer.
Gosnell was responsible for late-term abortions that turned into infanticides, as well as the deaths of women who had abortions in clinic. His facility was the farthest thing from clean with cat feces, bloodstains, and bags of baby body parts. Jars were discovered with severed feet kept as trophies, and aborted babies were in the fridge next to employees’ lunches. Ultimately Gosnell was convicted of three counts of murder, one count of involuntary manslaughter, as well as a vast amount of lesser charges.
3801 Lancaster, the location of Gosnell's clinic, was an unclean house of horrors teeming with death. This new documentary, which follows an earlier production from the same filmmakers about Gosnell, will show what really happened and who Kermit Gosnell really is.
Another movie in production, “Gosnell,” just finished filming. A dramatic portrayal of the same events covered by the new documentary, the goal of "Gosnell" is to show people America’s biggest serial killer and the media cover-up of his case.
The things that Kermit Gosnell did are despicable; the horrors he inflicted on his patients and their babies are unfathomable. Gosnell is not alone, however, there are numerous bad actors in the abortion industry. Just recently an abortionist in Michigan was found with 14 containers of body parts in his car. The abortionist, Michael Roth, also had medical equipment and pain medicine in his vehicle. He is currently under investigation for performing at-home abortions. He has a history of disciplinary actions, including performing two at-home abortions.
People in America must see what is really happening in the abortion industry. Since the media often refuses to sufficiently report on these cases, it is our job as prolife people to shed a light on the atrocities that are taking place. Share the information about these movies, watch them with friends and family; make sure America can never forget where diminishing the value of human life can lead us!

Contact your U.S. Representative and urge them to support H.R. 3762
On Friday, October 23, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act (H.R. 3762). This bill is a reconciliation bill which cannot be filibustered in the U.S. Senate. That means it can pass with 51 votes instead of the usual 60.
The bill would redirect most federal funds provided to Planned Parenthood to community health centers for one year. If this bill becomes law, 89% of federal funding to Planned Parenthood would be cut off for a year.
The bill would also repeal components of Obamacare including provision which could lead to the rationing of care, specifically the Independent Payment Advisory Board and the excess benefits tax.
National Right to Life Committee has sent a letter to representatives urging them to vote yes.
Take the time to take action and contact your representative and let them know that you want them to vote yes on H.R. 3762.

Rape Survivor Child Custody Act passes Michigan House
The Michigan House of Representatives approved HB 4481 on October 15 by an overwhelming bi-partisan 101-4 vote. This bill would strengthen the rights of women who carry their child to term after conceiving in rape. The bill reduces barriers to a woman blocking the rapist from seeking legal custody and parenting time with the child. Sometimes perpetrators who know their victims use the threat of a custody battle over the child to coerce the woman to either have an abortion or to drop the rape charges the victim has brought against them.
This legislation is inspired by the story of Shauna Prewitt, who was forced to choose between protecting her daughter conceived in rape or dropping the charges against her assailant. Shauna witnesses to the inestimable value and beauty of her daughter's life through a short video that is part of Right to Life of Michigan's Compassion Project.
HB 4481 now heads to the Senate where we will begin working immediately for its passage. Right to Life of Michigan is proud to have brought this legislation to bill sponsor Rep. Lisa Lyons for introduction, and we are encouraged and pleased by its progress thus far.

Car trunk abortion investigation shows abortion industry scrutiny necessary
On October 13, it was reported
that long-time Michigan abortionist Michael Roth is under
investigation for human tissue and medical equipment found in his
vehicle in West Bloomfield.
Right to Life of Michigan applauds authorities for investigating any potential violations. The abortion industry's long history of contempt for women's health, standards of care and state regulations shows that they cannot be trusted to regulate themselves.
Roth has a long history of violations, including two previous at-home abortions he performed in 1998 and 1999.
Right to Life of Michigan released a report in 2012, Abortion Abuses and State Regulatory Agency Failure, featuring several of Roth's violations. In addition to his at-home abortions, Roth was disciplined in 2002 for drug-related violations, including prescribing drugs without a license. He was disciplined in 2004 for violating patient consent laws and was accused of falsifying medical records by a former employee.
Right to Life of Michigan Legislative Director Ed Rivet said, "Abortionists frequently violate our laws with extreme disregard for women's health and safety. Roth should have his license revoked, just like Dr. Robert Alexander who ran a house of horrors abortion clinic in Muskegon until 2014."
Roth's most recent abortion business, the Novi Laser and Aesthetic Center, was closed in 2014.
Since passage of the Michigan Prolife Omnibus Act in 2012, which significantly strengthened the oversight of the abortion industry, 16 abortion businesses in the state have closed, many due to substandard practices.
Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing said, "We're glad we've been able to provide more tools for authorities to deal with health and safety violations in the abortion industry, and we'll continue to provide them with even more. If abortionists and their businesses can't abide by laws and regulations that others follow, they shouldn't be allowed practice on vulnerable women."

Federal agents raid home of longtime Michigan abortionist Michael Roth
Last night federal agents raided and searched the home of longtime abortionist Michael Roth. His home was searched after a car accident investigation discovered medical equipment (possibly abortion instruments) and human tissue (possibly the remains of aborted children) in the trunk of his car. His is suspected of performing illegal abortions.
Here’s part of the story from FOX 2 News.
Roth has a long history with abortion malpractice. Right to Life of Michigan highlighted his sordid history in our Abortion Clinic Abuses report in 2012. That report notes how Roth was fined by the Board of Medicine after performing abortions in the homes of 2 women in the late 1990's. Roth still holds a medical license after promising to never perform abortions outside of clinic/hospital setting and completing a probationary period. The report also details the results of 2002 investigation of Roth’s office by a state pharmacy investigator and Roth’s numerous infractions, his failure to follow Michigan’s informed consent law, and allegations by a former employee that Roth was performing abortions past 24 weeks.
Here’s part of the story from FOX 2 News.
West Bloomfield police were able to confirm that two search warrants were executed in this case so far - one at Roth's home and the other at the doctor's practice.
While details are sketchy as to what they were looking for and what they uncovered, police did say this stems from a crash the doctor was allegedly involved in, on 14 Mile Road near Orchard Lake two weeks ago.
The crash left one person critically injured and inside Roth's vehicle was said to be a gruesome discovery, according to sources.
Now, the attorney general confirms they too are investigating Dr. Roth. Sources tell us he is suspected in conducting illegal abortions and thus, is subject to this investigation.

Planned Parenthood announces they will no longer exchange money for fetal body parts
In a surprise announcement, Planned Parenthood says their affiliates will no longer take money in exchange for the body parts of aborted children.
In a letter sent to Congress in August, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards admitted that one of their California affiliates received a “reimbursement of $60 per tissue specimen” and that other affiliates had previously accepted money for fetal body parts, but those relationships ended when the Center for Medical Progress released videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s selling of fetal body parts.
Since the first video was released in July, Planned Parenthood has claimed over and over again that they are just being reimbursed for the cost of their expenses. However, they have never provided any evidence that it costs them $60 per body part when the fetal parts buyer is sorting through the fetal parts, storing them and shipping them.
The Center for Medical Progress has been prevented from releasing undercover footage from National Abortion Federation conferences because of a court order. The same court recently allowed the Center for Medical Progress to provide that footage to Congress after they subpoenaed it.
Planned Parenthood announced Tuesday that it will no longer accept any reimbursement as part of its fetal tissue donation program, taking its strongest step yet to end the onslaught of conservative attacks against the group.
The group’s president Cecile Richards disclosed the policy change in a letter to the National Institutes of Health, which she said was intended to “take away any basis for attacking Planned Parenthood to advance an anti-abortion political agenda.”

The time is now to act on abortion coercion
On September 29, in a 5-3 vote, H.B. 4787 and H.B. 4830 passed the
Michigan House Criminal Justice Committee and are under consideration on
the House floor. Right to Life of Michigan applauds these legislative
efforts to address the ongoing injustice of coerced abortions.
Right to Life of Michigan expects the full Michigan House and the Michigan Senate to finally pass the Coercive Abortion Prevention Act (CAPA) this term. CAPA would add to Michigan's current anti-extortion/coercion provisions by including coercion to abort as a specific crime. A portion of CAPA was passed in 2012, and other versions of the legislation have been considered in past legislative sessions.
During that delay, vulnerable women have faced threats of physical violence, withdrawal of financial support, loss of housing and violation of legal agreements in attempts to coerce them into ending the life of their child.
Tammy Holly, herself a victim of abortion coercion, has testified three times now before the Michigan Legislature during work on these bills over the years.
"Year after year you hope and pray they finally get something accomplished," she said.
Through her work with the Justice Foundation, Holly has presented numerous legal affidavits of other Michigan women who have been coerced into having abortions. In her case, she received zero counseling or screening and was pressured by her boyfriend, her parent, and the abortionist. She said it was critical that women understand it's illegal to coerce them into having abortions, and that isn't happening now.
"My parent said, 'this is how we're going to do it.' The abortion doctor said, 'you don't have any other options," Holly said.
The abortion industry financially gains from abortions and has been silent in the face of this repeated evidence.
Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing said, "It's very clear that we can't trust those who profit from abortion to properly screen women for coercion. Since they refuse to do anything for these women, we must act and protect women in those situations."

Bills to prevent coercive abortion pass Michigan House Criminal Justice Committee
On September 29, in 5-3 votes, H.B. 4787 and H.B. 4830 passed the Michigan House Criminal Justice Committee and will be reportedly favorably to the House floor.
Before the vote, Right to Life of Michigan legislative director Ed Rivet spoke about his experiences of being contacted by girls and women who are being coerced into abortion by boyfriends and family members.
The three Democratic state representatives (Rep. Stephanie Chang, Rep. Vanessa Guerra and Rep. Marcia Hovey-Wright) on the committee voted against these bills despite calling themselves “pro-choice.”

White House issues veto threat against protecting children who survive abortion
Last week, the White House has released an official veto threat against H.R. 3134, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015, and H.R. 3504, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. In the statement, the White House says it “strongly opposes” both bills and the bills would limit “women’s health care choices.”
It’s no surprise that President Barack Obama is a fan of Planned Parenthood but how can the White House claim that protecting children who survive abortion would limit women’s health care choices?
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is a short legislation which merely requires that any health care practitioner (which would include abortionists and nurses) who are present when a child who is born alive after an abortion shall:
How this would “limit women’s health care choices” or “have a chilling effect, reducing access to care” is never explained in the veto threat. The only reasonable explanation is a creepy one. It seems President Obama thinks some abortionists who don’t try to help children who survive abortions would stop doing late-term abortions. That he cares more about late-term abortionists being able to abandon children who survive abortions than the children themselves should give everyone pause.

Bill to ban abortions after 20 weeks filibustered in U.S. Senate
A bill to ban abortions after 20 weeks because unborn children may be
able to feel pain is being filibustered by 42 pro-abortion U.S.
senators including Senator Gary Peters and Senator Debbie Stabenow. A majority of Americans and U.S. senators oppose late-term
abortions.
FULL STORY
Senate Democrats on Tuesday blocked a Republican bill that would ban most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
The measure failed to advance in a 54-42 vote, falling short of the 60-vote threshold needed.
Democratic Sens. Robert Casey, Jr. (Pa.), Joe Donnelly (Ind.) and Joe Manchin (W.Va.), who all oppose abortion rights, joined Republicans in voting to advance the bill. Republican Sens. Susan Collins (Maine) and Mark Kirk (Ill.), who support abortion rights, voted against it.

Laura Berman and the Detroit News owe Carly Fiorina an apology and retraction
In a recent column for the Detroit News, columnist Laura Berman claims presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was being untruthful during the most recent presidential debate in describing a scene from one of the videos released by the Center for Medical Progress.
In the debate, Fiorina challenged President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to watch the videos and described a scene from one of them (specifically the 7th video at approximately the 6th minute mark) by saying, “Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain."
So how does Berman know what Fiorina said was untruthful? Did she watch the videos herself? No. She believes a pro-abortion writer named Sarah Kliff who claims to have watched all the videos. Sarah Kliff gained notoriety in the prolife community when as a writer for the Washington Post she didn’t cover the trial of abortionist and serial killer Kermit Gosnell because she believed it was a “local crime” story.
Berman writes,
So who are you going to believe? A pro-abortion writer or your own eyes?
The Detroit News should immediately update Berman's column online to include the footage or at bare minimum a link to the footage which Fiorina references and let their readers decide for themselves who is spouting "pure fiction."

Planned Parenthood has denounced it as blatantly false, while Vox.com’s Sara (sic) Kliff called it “pure fiction,” after watching all 12 hours of the Center for Medical Progress’ videos targeting Planned Parenthood. “But the things Fiorina describes — the legs kicking, the intact ‘fully formed fetus,’ the heart beating, the remarks about having to ‘harvest its brain’ — are pure fiction,” she wrote, posting all 12 hours on the website.Instead of retracting her statements or telling people to "rest assured," a super PAC supporting Fiorina has created the below 1-minute ad which includes her statement from the debate and the video footage she references.
Although several GOP candidates expressed outrage at abortion and Planned Parenthood’s involvement in it, Carpentier said Fiorina is being singled out because she’s “attesting to things that are blatantly untrue.” Fiorina has yet to retract any of her statements, instead saying people can “rest assured” her description is accurate.

U.S. House votes to defund Planned Parenthood, protect children who survive abortions
On September 18, 2015, the U.S. House of Representatives voted for two prolife bills. One piece of legislation entitled the Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015 would defund Planned Parenthood for a year. Planned Parenthood is America’s leading abortion provider and is being investigated by Congress for their role in the practice of trafficking in the body parts of aborted children.
The Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015 passed by a vote of 241-187 with 239 Republicans and two Democrats supporting the measure.
The House also voted 248-177 in favor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This bill would “require any health care practitioner who is present when a child is born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion to: (1) exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to any other child born alive at the same gestational age, and (2) ensure that such child is immediately admitted to a hospital.”
This bill passed with the support of 243 Republicans and 5 Democrats.

Media baselessly attacks Carly Fiorina after she mentions Planned Parenthood's fetal harvesting
At National Review, Ian Tuttle has an article describing how quickly members of the media (which generally has avoided writing stories on the series of videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of fetal body parts trafficking) jumped to Planned Parenthood’s defense.
During last night’s presidential debate, presidential candidate Carly Fiorina challenged President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to watch the videos and then described a scene from one of the videos by saying:
This line received huge applause from the audience. Tuttle describes how Planned Parenthood-friendly media members quickly went after Fiorina and her comment, apparently without ever actually watching the videos.

I dare Hillary Clinton [and] Barack Obama to watch these tapes. Watch a fully-formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says, ‘We have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.’ This is about the character of our nation.
This line received huge applause from the audience. Tuttle describes how Planned Parenthood-friendly media members quickly went after Fiorina and her comment, apparently without ever actually watching the videos.
By 10:15 p.m., Fusion’s Casey Tolan had labeled Fiorina’s answer “the scariest moment of the GOP Debate so far,” then penned a paragraph of almost-verbatim Planned Parenthood talking points.....
Reporter Rachana Pradhan “fact-checked” Fiorina’s claim for Politico: “That video relies solely on the interview and does not include footage to support her claims.”
And Slate’s Amanda Marcotte rushed to contend that Fiorina’s “grisly abortion rant” was untruths through and through: “There is nothing in the videos made by CMP, either in the edited or full-length versions, that has anything approaching images of legs kicking or hearts beating.”
Perhaps Marcotte & Co. should actually watch the Planned Parenthood videos. In the seventh video (there are ten available now, by the way, with more to come), at the 5:57 mark, is a baby, post-abortion, lying in a dish — its leg kicking. They will also hear Holly O’Donnell, an ex-StemExpress procurement technician who worked at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda Clinic in San Jose, Calif., describing how she was directed to “cut down the middle of the face” of a baby with a still-beating heart “to get the brain.”

10th Planned Parenthood video released, features top Planned Parenthood exec talking about how selling fetal body parts can “generate a fair amount of income” for clinics
The Center for Medical Progress has released the 10th video in their series of videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s and abortion industry’s practice of selling the body parts of aborted children. The undercover video features clips at what appears to be a conference of abortion providers including talks with Deb VanDerhei, the National Director of the Consortium of Abortion Providers, an organization within Planned Parenthood which attempts to expand the number of their affiliates doing abortions.
A discussion with longtime abortionist Carolyn Westhoff is also shown. Westhoff, who is a Senior Medical Advisor for Planned Parenthood, discusses how fetal body parts buyers want different types of fetal body parts and tissues from her abortion clinic including cardiac, eyes, neural, spinal cords, and gonads.
Vanessa Russo, the Compliance Program Administrator for Planned Parenthood Keystone says, “A company like this that wants to give our organization money for the tissue, I think that’s a valid exchange. And that’s okay”
The video also features a number of Planned Parenthood executives discussing how bad it would be for public relations if the public knew about how Planned Parenthood is willing to sell the body parts and organs of aborted children.

NPR runs puff piece on re-opened Ohio abortion clinic, never mentions health violations which closed it
National Public Radio’s All Things Considered ran a story about an abortion clinic in Ohio where the abortionist is providing both surgical and chemical abortions. Entitled, “Bucking Trend, Ohio Doctor Opens Clinic That Provides Abortion Services,” the article by Sarah Jane Tribble tells us that abortionist David Burkons “liked delivering babies. But he is also committed to serving all his patients, including those who choose abortions.”
The reader learns that Burkons has finally been able to do surgical abortions at this location.
What the article doesn’t tell us is that this isn’t a “new clinic.” In fact, this "new" clinic is at the exact same location as an abortion clinic which the state of Ohio shut down because of numerous deficiencies in 2013. Those deficiencies included having unqualified employees routinely distributing controlled substances to patients, lack of infection control training, lack of evidence of informed consent, no registered nurse assigned to surgery, etc.
Burkons worked at the "old" Capital Care Network clinic before it was closed and he re-opened the clinic under the new name of "Northeast Ohio Women's Clinic" mere months after it closed. These important details are curiously missing from the story.
The NPR piece while focusing on Burkons use of chemical abortions, also fails to mention that Burkons is responsible for a large number of complications using the RU-486 chemical abortion method.
When it was pointed out to reporter Sarah Jane Tribble that the clinic was not “new” but had been closed by the state in 2013, she responded by saying, “Thank you for reading. That was a different clinic.”
When it was further pointed out that the clinic is located in the same building at the same address and Burkons performed abortions there prior to it closing in 2013, Tribble responded by saying, “Different ownership.”
Does that sound like a journalist? Or does that sound like a public relations hack defending her employer?
Imagine a restaurant is shut down by the state for numerous health violations. A few months later the restaurant re-opens at the same location with a new name under "new management" but the chef is the same. Wouldn't any reporter with journalistic integrity mention how the "old" restaurant was shut down by the state in an article discussing the re-opening? Shouldn't the public be informed about the restaurant's and the chef's previous problems?
The reader learns that Burkons has finally been able to do surgical abortions at this location.
Initially in his new clinic, he could only administer the pills that induce medical abortion. But this summer, after 18 months of state inspections, rejections and — finally — acceptance, he began performing surgical abortions as well.
9th Planned Parenthood video released, baby body parts buyer admits sometimes babies “just fell out”
The Center for Medical Progress has released the ninth in its undercover series of videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of selling body parts of aborted children. This video focuses on Advanced BioScience Resources, an organization which buys body parts from Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics and then sells them to researchers.
In the video, Perrin Larton, an employee of Advanced BioScience Resources, discusses how in some instances intact children “just fell out” of their mothers after the women had been dilated with laminaria.
“Yeah, they put lams (laminaria) in and she comes in the next morning, and I literally have had women come in and they’ll go in the OR (operating room), and they’re back out in 3 minutes, and I’m going, ‘What’s going on?’
‘Oh yeah, the fetus was already in the vaginal canal whenever we put her in the stirrups, it just fell out.’”

Update: The full footage of the undercover meeting with Perrin Larton is below.

Planned Parenthood admits to selling body parts for $60 each, changing abortion techniques
In a letter to Congress, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards admits that one of their California affiliates receives a “reimbursement of $60 per tissue specimen” and that Planned Parenthood abortionists will adjust how they perform abortions to “ facilitate fetal tissue donations.”
Richards says only one Planned Parenthood affiliate is currently being paid for body parts but admits that four other affiliates previously had relationships with companies buying fetal body parts but those relationships have ended since the release of the undercover videos.
Richards says the $60 per “tissue specimen” is a “modest reimbursement” and “these amounts were intended to recover only their costs.” However, she provides no reasoning or accounting for why $60 per tissue specimen is an accurate reimbursement of Planned Parenthood’s supposed costs considering employees of tissue procurement companies like StemExpress would routinely collect the body parts and ship them. No explanation or demonstration is given for this reimbursement even as Planned Parenthood admits that it’s guidance to affiliates says the affiliate “must be able to demonstrate the reimbursement represents its actual costs.” If the affiliate must demonstrate the reimbursement reflects actual costs, then where is that demonstration?
The Center for Medical Progress, the group behind the undercover videos has released a statement regarding Planned Parenthood’s letter which says:
Regarding the changing of abortion procedures to obtain the desired fetal tissue, Richards writes,
This directly contradicts what Planned Parenthood’s own medical director Deborah Nucatola was caught on tape saying. In the first undercover video released, Nucatola was very open in describing to actors how she would "huddle" with staffers at the start of the day to discuss what body parts were needed and that she would intentionally "crush above" and below the torso in an effort to obtain intact fetal organs. This was not done to make the abortion as safe as possible for the woman but done solely to obtain the desired organs.
Planned Parenthood has been caught selling the body parts of children killed at their clinics. They have still not provided any evidence that the money they receive for these parts is only reimbursement for their costs. Planned Parenthood abortionists have been caught discussing their willingness and intent in changing abortion techniques to obtain intact organs to sell. They have still not provided any evidence that changing the technique is done for the safety of the woman.

The Center for Medical Progress, the group behind the undercover videos has released a statement regarding Planned Parenthood’s letter which says:
Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards makes two key admissions today in Planned Parenthood’s letter to Congress: that Planned Parenthood gets paid $60 per baby body part harvested, and that Planned Parenthood doctors alter their abortion procedures to get higher-quality body parts. Both of these admissions speak to Planned Parenthood’s financial benefit and profit motive for supplying fetal tissue, and both are the points CMP’s videos have documented and illustrated from the very beginning. When a Tissue Procurement Organization handles all dissection, packaging, and shipping of fetal organs, and all Planned Parenthood does is spend 10 minutes consenting a patient, the $60 per body part harvested quickly adds up to illegal baby parts profit for Planned Parenthood. And when a Planned Parenthood doctor manipulates the abortion to get higher-quality baby parts, they are prizing Planned Parenthood’s financial interests ahead of women’s health.
Regarding the changing of abortion procedures to obtain the desired fetal tissue, Richards writes,
In performing the selected method, a physician may need to make multiple adjustments to the method as the surgery proceeds. These adjustments are clinical judgments – not a change of method – made by the physician as the abortion proceeds and are always intended to achieve the woman’s desired result as safely as possible......Our understanding, however, is that even adjustments that facilitate fetal tissue donations rarely occur at our few clinics that offer women this service.
8th video on fetal body part harvesting released, discusses intact severed baby heads
The eight video in the series by the Center for Medical Progress exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of selling the body parts of unborn children was released earlier today. It features undercover footage of a lunch meeting with Cate Dyer, the CEO of StemExpress. StemExpress is a company which buys fetal body parts from Planned Parenthood (and other abortion clinics) and then sells them to researchers.
In the video, Cate Dyer discusses sending intact fetal heads to researchers, mentions Planned Parenthood is a “volume institution” with regards to abortion, says StemExpress could use 50 more fetal livers a week because the demand from researchers is so high, and mentions how they’ve seen clinics with “really rampant problems with bacteria” including staph infection.
StemExpress sued the Center for Medical Progress in an attempt to prevent the release of this footage. Last week, a judge removed the temporary order which prevented the Center for Medical Progress from releasing this video. StemExpress didn’t want the public to see their CEO laughing about how you have to warn a lab that a whole head of an aborted child is coming or else the person opening the box might freak out. Due to the increased scrutiny of their relationship with Planned Parenthood and fetal tissue harvesting, StemExpress announced on August 14 that they were ending their dealings with Planned Parenthood.
Watch the video below.

One of Planned Parenthood’s fetal parts buyers severs ties with organization
StemExpress, one of companies which buys body parts of unborn children from Planned Parenthood, announced late Friday afternoon that they are cutting ties with the organization.
The third and sixth videos released by the Center for Medical Progress include interviews with a former StemExpress employee who discusses the relationship between StemExpress and Planned Parenthood. Two congressional committees have asked StemExpress to detail their relationship with Planned Parenthood.
StemExpress has also gone to court to prevent the Center for Medical Progress from releasing footage of a lunch meeting between executives at StemExpress and undercover actors from the Center for Medical Progress.

“We value our various partnerships but, due to the increased questions that have arisen over the past few weeks, we feel it prudent to terminate activities with Planned Parenthood,” the company said in a statement. “While we value our business relationship with Planned Parenthood, that work represents a small percentage of our overall business activity and we must focus our limited resources on resolving these inquiries.”
The small biomedical tissue procurement company is distancing itself from Planned Parenthood after finding itself tangentially linked to what abortion opponents allege is Planned Parenthood’s illegal trafficking of fetal tissue and organs.

6th Planned Parenthood video discusses how StemExpress employees would take baby parts without woman’s consent
“Human Capital - Episode 2: Inside the Planned Parenthood Supply Site” features interviews with Holly O’Donnell, a former employee of StemExpress. O’Donnell shares how Planned Parenthood would provide her and her co-workers with patient records and abortion schedule so they could be ready to get the parts of aborted children they needed. StemExpress technicians would also take fetal organs without obtaining the consent of women if the organ was in demand.
O’Donnell says, “If there was a higher gestation, and the technicians needed it, there were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”
O’Donnell also discusses how quickly Planned Parenthood abortionist Ron Berman would perform abortions.

Senator Debbie Stabenow doesn’t understand why prolifers want to defund an organization which sells fetal body parts, thinks Planned Parenthood does mammograms
Yesterday, Senator Debbie Stabenow tweeted out the following.
Maybe Senator Stabenow hasn’t been following the news of late. Maybe she is completely unaware of the series of videos exposing Planned Parenthood practice of trafficking in the body parts of unborn children. Maybe she didn’t listen to any of speeches by her colleagues to understand why they don’t think America’s leading abortion provider should continue getting millions in tax dollars. Maybe she was unaware that two of her Democratic colleagues were going to vote to defund Planned Parenthood. Maybe she doesn't understand why some people think selling the body parts of unborn children is wrong. Maybe she was unaware the money Planned Parenthood gets would be given to community health centers. Maybe she and her staff haven’t done a minute of research and instead rely solely on Planned Parenthood’s talking points.
Because if they did do the slightest bit of research they would know that Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms. They don’t even have the equipment to provide mammograms. There are more than 8,000 licensed mammogram facilities in the U.S. and Planned Parenthood doesn’t run one of them.
Why do Republicans want to undermine an organization that provides mammograms, cancer screenings, and blood pressure checks? #StandwithPP

Fifth video released, Planned Parenthood staffer discusses intact fetuses
This morning, the Center for Medical Progress released the fifth video in undercover investigation exposing Planned Parenthood's practice of trafficking in fetal body parts. This video features footage from inside Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast abortion clinic and a discussion with Melissa Farrell, Director of Research, at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in her office and during a lunch meeting.
In the discussion, Farrell discusses obtaining "intact fetal cadavers," a desire to increase and diverse Planned Parenthood's "revenue stream," and her affiliate's willingness to alter abortion techniques in order to obtain better parts.
The video also features footage inside the room where Planned Parenthood processes the parts of unborn children and includes footage showing the remains of an unborn child killed at 18 weeks.

Courts tell Center for Medical Progress to not release certain footage, videos featuring Planned Parenthood still being released
In the wake of the Center for Medical Progress videos featuring Planned Parenthood’s practice of trafficking in fetal body parts, other organizations who were caught in the undercover videos have sued to keep that footage from being released. They clearly want to hide this footage from the public.
StemExpress is a company which buys fetal parts from Planned Parenthood in California. According to an interview with CNN, the Center for Medical Progress’ David Daleiden was able to have a lunch meeting with executives from StemExpress and during that meeting the StemExpress executives discussed obtaining intact aborted children.
StemExpress filed suit in to prevent the Center for Medical Progress from releasing that footage. The Los Angeles Superior Court issued a restraining order that prevents them from releasing the footage from that meeting until the scheduled August 19 hearing.
The Center for Medical Progress was also able to attend conferences of National Abortion Federation (NAF), an association of abortion providers, and have discussion with executives from the organization. In order to prevent that footage from being released, NAF filed suit in San Francisco and recently obtained a temporary restraining order which prevents the Center for Medical Progress from releasing footage which was shot at their conferences until a hearing on August 27.
The judge in that case, Judge William Orrick, is a big donor to President Obama and his wife is an abortion advocate.
This lawsuits do not prevent the Center for Medical Progress from releasing videos shot inside Planned Parenthood abortion clinics.

Majority of U.S. Senate votes to defund Planned Parenthood, bill is blocked by filibuster
Yesterday, the U.S. Senate voted 53-46 to defund Planned Parenthood and direct tax dollars which are currently funding America’s leading abortion provider to instead go to community health centers. In the U.S. Senate, 60 votes are needed to overcome a filibuster.
Both of Michigan's U.S. Senators, Senator Debbie Stabenow and Senator Gary Peters, voted against the bill.

Both of Michigan's U.S. Senators, Senator Debbie Stabenow and Senator Gary Peters, voted against the bill.
The vote, which failed 53-46, would have redirected the more than $500 million in taxpayer funding Planned Parenthood receives annually to community health centers as a way to allow women to continue to receive care. The vote comes in the wake of four videos released by anti-abortion activists depicting Planned Parenthood employees apparently discussing the sale of body parts of aborted fetuses, which is illegal......
Monday’s vote represented the first official attempt to move forward on the issue. Sens. Joni Ernst and Rand Paul led the crafting of the legislation, which only two Democrats, West Virginia’s Joe Manchin and Joe Donnelly of Indiana, joined the vast majority of Republicans in voting for. Only Republican Sen. Mark Kirk voted against the bill, though McConnell switched his vote to “no” as a way to ensure he can bring the measure up again in the future.

Unsurprisingly and unconvincingly, the Detroit Free Press defends Planned Parenthood
The Detroit Free Press editorial board has issued an editorial
defending Planned Parenthood’s practice of trafficking in the body
parts and organs of unborn human beings.
The Free Press works diligently to downplay Planned Parenthood’s role in the abortion industry, parroting the typical talking points. Free Press readers would be surprised to learn that Planned Parenthood is the leading abortion provider in America, providing more than 300,000 abortions a year, and that by any reasonable estimation abortion makes up a very sizable portion (30%-40%) of their clinic revenue.
The editorial claims the videos exposing Planned Parenthood are a “sophisticated, concerted attack unparalleled in its history, aided and abetted by presidential politics.”
The Free Press says the videos are “carefully edited.” Notably, the Free Press editorial doesn’t link directly to the full, unedited videos for readers to make up their owns minds. Nor does the Free Press even seem to be aware that two more videos were released this week. There’s a reason for that. The Free Press would prefer to brush aside discussions and images of hearts, lungs, livers and brains being harvested and trafficked by saying, “Some comments made by Planned Parenthood officials are, without question, distasteful.”
Any sensible person would wonder which comments were distasteful and why they were so distasteful. The Free Press feels no need to share that information.
That’s because the editorial board at the Detroit Free Press doesn’t have the courage to look at what’s on those videos, much less defend it. They don’t want their readers to know that a Planned Parenthood employee says, “And another boy!” after sifting through the remains of an unborn child and discovering male genitalia.
Or hear Mary Gatter, the President of Planned Parenthood’s Medical Director’s Council, haggle over what price their affiliate would be compensated with for the tiny organs.
Or hear Savita Ginde, Vice-President and Medical Director of Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountains, say, “I think a per item thing works a little better, because we can see how much we can get out of it.”
Also missing from the Free Press editorial is any mention of how Planned Parenthood abortionists openly discussed changing their techniques in order to retrieve organs that are intact. This is a violation of law and the consent agreement Planned Parenthood provides to women. The Free Press wouldn’t want their readers to know that Planned Parenthood Medical Director Deborah Nucatola describes how she crushes the body of an unborn child above and below the abdomen but attempts to preserve the abdomen so the organs remain intact.
The Detroit Free Press editorial board gladly blind themselves and their readers to the atrocities which occur everyday in Planned Parenthood abortion clinics. They do this because they realize that if America sees what really happens behind closed doors, support for abortion may dwindle as our society begins to recognize that these aren’t clump of cells being removed, but tiny humans with intact organs who are being dismembered.
