Police search northern Indiana abortion clinic after abortionist delayed reporting statutory rape

Police in Indiana searched the abortion clinic of George Klopfer on Wednesday looking for evidence after Klopfer detailed reporting the statutory rape of a 13-year-old who received an abortion at his clinic. 

Detectives from the St. Joseph County Special Victims unit served a search warrant Wednesday at the South Bend clinic where Dr. Ulrich "George" Klopfer provides abortions and other services, the county prosecutor's office confirmed.

St. Joseph County in northern Indiana borders Michigan and Klopfer's abortion clinic in South Bend is where some women living in southwest Michigan may go for abortions.
