U.S. Senate defeats measure to de-fund Planned Parenthood

By a vote of 58-42, the U.S. Senate voted against a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, America's #1 abortion provider. The U.S. Senate also voted 53-47 on party lines against a bill to de-fund the health care law passed in 2010 which contains a plethora of anti-life provisions.

The roll call of the vote to de-fund Planned Parenthood is here. Both Senator Levin and Senator Stabenow voted against de-funding Planned Parenthood and against de-funding the health care law.
