Right to Life of Michigan Conference featured on WILX

On Saturday, September 24, hundreds of prolifers from across Michigan came together at Right to Life of Michigan's 38th Annual Conference. WILX, Lansing's NBC affiliate, was there to cover the event.
"The reason that I'm here is because back in 1972 I was an unfortunate person to have gone through an abortion," Right To Life participant, Karen Holdren, said.

That experience for Holdren was enough to get her involved in the Right To Life organization and on Saturday, over 200 people gathered at the Causeway Bay Hotel in Lansing for the 38th annual conference. All those in attendance were there to talk about one thing.

"Right To Life is about celebrating life," Right To Life spokesperson, Pamela Sherstad, said.

Different leaders involved in the cause gathered to talk about what's new in the fight for pro-life issues.

"Leaders from Right To Life local affiliates are meeting to just be encouraged and informed about what's happening in the pro-life movement statewide," Sherstad said.
