Contact your U.S. Representative and urge them to support H.R. 3762

On Friday, October 23, the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act (H.R. 3762).  This bill is a reconciliation bill which cannot be filibustered in the U.S. Senate.  That means it can pass with 51 votes instead of the usual 60.

The bill would redirect most federal funds provided to Planned Parenthood to community health centers for one year.  If this bill becomes law, 89% of federal funding to Planned Parenthood would be cut off for a year.

The bill would also repeal components of Obamacare including provision which could lead to the rationing of care, specifically the Independent Payment Advisory Board and the excess benefits tax.

National Right to Life Committee has sent a letter to representatives urging them to vote yes.

Take the time to take action and contact your representative and let them know that you want them to vote yes on H.R. 3762.
